    I couldn't make out the maker's name. What is it ? That looks like it will be like honing a 4/8. It is indeed in interesting blade. It will be interesting to see how it shaves once you hone it up Sham.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    It is from The American Knife Co. Plymouth Hollow, Conn. Mine is a big Faux Frameback. Since they scream Sheffield, I wonder?

    I have a big French point blade by the same maker that I have to restore. They shave pretty good.

    That is truly unique and I would offer to make some scales but I fear that I would be tempted to mail back money rather than a razor. I like the really unique ones and this one is hard to beat.
