    Default new"old" straight... John B. Hobson?

    picked up a straight today marked John B. Hobs** Sheffield. (think this may be Hobson as light stamp.
    Scales are dark tortoiseshell, blade is Quarter hollow and is notch point.
    anyone have any ideas on this maker as I cant find any reference?

    Pics will help but this is what I have so far
    John B. Hobson Sheffield. This company manufactured "Bowie" type knives, among other kinds of cutlery.
