    This is 7 day set and unfortunately 1 of the handles wasn't repairable.
    Rest i-y and blade has very interesting grind.

    That grind is one solid hunk of metal. They really are so different to modern hollows. Nice find and in great condition, shame about the missing scales. Im sure you'll find a nice pair for it!

    You reckon they're cast steel?

    i am not sure it is cast steel or not. Blades are heavy.

    I have seen a few ground like that. They were not flat they have a slight convexity.

    After a closer look at the pictures I think the second to last pic may give it away. The tiny pseudo-shoulder makes it look like your right.

    There are cast razors (of quality) out there? In the scissor world cast is synonymous with *%^)@. Most won't even take an edge (not even at 45*) the better ones will, but one drop and *poof* you now have 3 pieces that use to be a shear.

    A barber customer of mine had a 7-day set GIVEN to him. He says they are all in their original box, with scales, and no nicks/chips. Didn't know the name though. It's killing me. That, and the fact the was using a NICE Geneva Cutlery 5/8 with a perfect patina and scales as a paper cutter....that's killing me more.
