Thread: Montgomery Ward, Chicago IL Spike Point

A local gentleman is selling a vintage Montgomery Ward razor. I am going to most likely purchase the razor once I go to see it in person just being that it is a Chicago made/licensed razor. Chicago may not be my native land, but I love this city!

Upon searching, I found next to no info. I have found razors that were sold by MGW but not actually made by them. The seller has told me that it says "Montgomery Ward & Co. Chicago" on the tang. Does anybody have any info on a razor actually produced by MGW?

I'm not aware that Monkey Wards produced anything. I wanted a glass lined thermos for my tea and I didn't want to buy a new one with a cheap plastic exterior. I scored a 40 year old NOS (still in the original unopened wrapper) quart sized glass lined Montgomery Wards metal thermos on Ebay recently. Sweet.
