Default Went to the antique shop

I went to the antique shop today hoping to find some straights. After going to five shops I found at least 10 straights lockup in a old cabinet. The prices were $10-$20, they looked nice inside the cabinet, didn’t see no rust the scales looked nice. I decided to ask to see them. The elder lady who was selling them lost the keys and couldn’t show them to me . She did say they would hold the razors for me until next week, but it was a bummer seeing them and not be able to pick them up.

That's when you grab the tire tool from your trunk and tell her that you found the key.
Maybe a set of lockpicking tools could have a legitimate use, after all. You could pick the lock for her, inspect the razors, and buy the ones you want.

MAN what a bummer! I hit up three shops in the area yesterday. Found three straights. A J Wostenholm I bought, a "Sterling" with black plastic broken scales. It didn't look bad, but it was priced too high for just a blade, and a Double Duck I got really excited over until I turned it over and opened it to a blade edge that looked like the letter "S" quite literally, and a hinge pin covered in corrosion. The guy at that shop thought it was golden, so I let him keep it. Got a nice shave mug from him though. Also got a strop. I'll be hitting up more of the antique shops in the area in the near future.

Keep us up to date on what you find!
