Thanked: 33That seller always has razors in that condition at similar prices. The seller has always been very accommodating when I've asked for more detailed pictures of the blades. (I'm not right, huh ?)

I figured that picture was good for a few laughs, maybe a smile or two, and the learned folks of this great forum would find it amusing that someting like that was even worth taking a picture of. I've got a Wade & Butcher blade that I took the scales and used it on my Gold Bug razor, and dulled the edge a bit so I didn't cut myself (large chips out of it) and use it as a letter opoener, but wouldn't think of selling such a thing to the public. At least mine has some smooth edge to it in front. How could you get one in this shape?? I know.. this was last used by Superman!

Thanked: 1My guess is the previous owner rinsed it in battery acid after every shave.
That, or he used it for chopping rocks.

It is obvious the prior owner needed a barbas duras razor.
I think I will inquire if he'll make it shave ready before shipping.

stop it
Stop the complaining, at least the seller offers free shipping.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

I don't see the issue here. So it has a bit of rust on the blade, but a nice restore should take care of that. Just restore it, hone it up, strop it (can I borrow your strop for a little bit?) and give it the old shave test.

A little sandpaper, a little polish and voila! You have a shiny POS.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
