    I have seen 'finest India steel' on quite a few blades. Can anyone explain what type of steel this is and where it was manufactured?

    We've discussed this before and there never has been any real consensus. If you believe, then it's something special. To me it's just hype with nothing special about it. Just Carbon Steel.
