I thought this site might help me find more info out regarding a straight razor I just purchased. I hope with all your extensive knowledge that you can help me know more about the manufacture and if the razor was made in the UK.
The blade it a 6/8ths near wedge (with smile and barbers notch) - on the tang it reads 'Butterfield Bradford'.
To my knowledge if it was made in the UK for export, it should have 'England' stamped on.
If the Blade was made in the US, I would have expected something like 'PA' after the 'Bradford'.
Any advice is welcome
