The Gottlieb Hammesfahr for the last time
As some of you know these are my personal favorites-like them better than my Boker,Henkels,Hoffritz,TI,Pumas and the rest of my soligens, there all great razors but dont deliever the same smooth close shave as my G&Hs do. Ive made a few friends in Germany and they tell me that they are rare there also,as the people they know who use them wouldnt sell theres either-they both own some and are the same way.One thing they told me is that the company has been around since the 1700s and shouldnt there be a lot of them on the market?
Anyway I wanted to know how many of our members have one and if they feel the same way?
I really didnt get an answer last time I asked, and someone more knowlageable than myself should know why something thats been around so long is so hard to find? I found ONE for sale today and its the same one thats been for sale for a month. Can anyone scratch this itch for me? Its really bugging me.
Thanks for any help

If there aren't many around I would guess there weren't that many sold. Perhaps also not that many made, but, then again, there could be someone sitting on cases and cases of them.
