Thanked: 0can anyone tell me about this razor help!?
Hello, i recently bought this straight razor at an estate sale. The box and the straight razor are are in perfect condition. On the box it says Kraut & Dohnal Expert and Grinding. 325 s. st. Chicago. On the blade it says w.l.f which i have no idea what it stands for and 1921 on the back side which i am geussing is the date. I cant find one anywhere online and i would like to know what it's worth. Thanks eddie.

Maybe it was a gift to W.L.F. dated 1921.

I can't tell you anything about the razor , but I have a box identical to yours . Mine came with a Swedish razor in it . I would guess that the company would supply a box for the razors they worked on .
Greetings , from Dundalk , Maryland . The place where normal people , fear to go .

Welcome to SRP.
First off we don't do razor valuations on this site. The value varies between people. As to your razor, I really don't know anything about the razor stamps. I do not see any similarities between the razor and the box. Most often the box and razor do not match. It looks like a decent razor. Have it professionally honed and shave with it. That's the best way to see what it's worth to you. Let us know if you have any wet shaving questions or need help in the use of straight razors. We'll be happy to assist.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)
