Thread: Any info on this here?

I have this exact razor and the original case/box.

Ive searched high and low for some info on it and cant find what im looking for.
I'm mainly interested in what year its from. or if that isn't possible to know at least
what general time frame its from. Id also like to know if its worth anything and if so what a fair asking price would be.

Joseph Rogers and sons are very common razors that when honed properly shave very well. Yours seem to be in great condition with no pitting visible except the two specs where the scales touch the blade.

OK that's fine. i can understand why asking for appraisals on here is frowned upon. But is there any way of telling what year/era is it from?

Judging from the cut of it's jib , I would estimate that it was made sometime between 1890 - 1920 .

wow. That's really cool. It feel nice holding history in your hand. Its just cool to think of who might have used this thing.
