Default Any idea what this might be?

It has a ton of hone wear, and has been re-scaled... badly. But it has a really interesting tang, and it looks like real ivory covering. No markings, though. Anybody seen anything like this?

I've seen a couple of Bokers that look like that. IIRC they had MOP tang covers, but I agree those look like ivory.

She's a pretty razor, nice find!

Any number of makers with scaled tangs. Take your pick.

The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I picked up a nice boker. I didn't realize that the blade was personalized. It has the name Billy Davis etched on the blade. I don't it was a homemade etching because it was too good.

If there is a Billy Davis here...he'd probably like it.
