Thread: Razor ID assistance?

Hey all, I picked up a lot of 3 razors on the 'Bay the other day and was wondering if you all could help me ID one of them. It looks to be a 5/8 round in black scales (celluloid or other plastic I assume) with a very thin white wedge. The front of the tang is stamped "10 CARA" and the back has a VERY small stamped mark I am having trouble making out, but is a circle with a + in the center, and "ZENTRA" (I think) inside the top of the circle and something I can't make out in the bottom.

Let's see if I can get a pic up here, too....



If anyone knows anything about the Genco or the Deputy's safety razor, that would be great, too. I don't know if I could potentially replace those blades, or what, but I would like to if I could.

Anyone ever seen one like this? Or know where/when it might have been made?

Sorry, I can't place that brand, altho I have a notion I've come across it. I know what you're goind through tho, I have an unidentified razor myself. I tried researching it for a while but never found anything. I stopped worrying about it when I discovered it was a great shaver, named or not. Hone her up and let's hear how she does.
