Thanked: 0advice sought on a straight razor on you know where..............
I'm listening to the experts now on purchases and would like to know if this is a razor that meets the minimum for a quality razor. It is B&B 8/8 FULL HOLOW GROUND SHAVE READY STRAIGHT RAZOR - eBay (item 200588757168 end time Apr-18-11 22:06:36 PDT)
Thank you in advance for your advice (I think that's alliteration!).

Short answer is no. Get a shave ready razor from the classifieds or one of the trusted vendors here.

Thanked: 1262No. B&B is on the do not buy list.
So even the junk peddlers learned the "Shave Ready" trick i guess

Seeing them make a "new" "razor" that looks more legit does make me wonder if it's really a razor... But I wouldn't gamble with my money.

I agree, I can't see it either. I was looking for the "brands of strops to avoid" or something but I could not find any such file either.

B&B is short for Bread and Butter knife.
