    Default Help Identifying a Razor.

    Greetings Gentlemen,

I have a razor that I would like some help identifying. I must apologize in advance due to my lack of pictures. The razor is undeniably old, as it was my great grandfathers who possibly received it from his father. On one side of the shank it is stamped "Hoff & Bros", On the other side it is stamped "Griffin" or possibly "Griffon" (Due to age and wear the name is not readable towards the end of the word) and then there is an xx under the word.

I have looked all over the internet and emailed some different manufacturers (ie; Dovo and the like) and none could offer any information.

I look forward to any and all responses.

Griffon XX Bridgeport Conn, c 1893 to date. Check out the Wiki tab and you will find a wealth of info.
The Hoff & Bros may have been a retailer who purchased from Griffon.
