Thanked: 65Do you mean PHOENIXVILLE ? as in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, just North of Valley Forge?
There was a Big grocery store in Chester, about 12 miles south of Phoenixville. It was Named Kennard Bros( with two "n"'s). In the 1880-1890's they were listed in a directory. It could be as with some general stores that they purchased some razors to sell to customers. They could have had a branch in Phoenixville. The brothers were John H. and Amos E. In the 1910-1920 era, Amos was a street car conductor in Chester.
So what is the correct spelling is it Kenard or Kennard. Is it Phoenixville?

Thanked: 65Charles Elmer Keinard, born PA, Jan 26, 1873 died 1973. son of John H. Keinard born 1837. His brother Clinton Keinard born 1878. I think they must be the Keinard Bros. In 1900 Charles is listed as Bicycle dealer, in 1910 as Sporting goods merchant, in 1920 as hardware merchant. His brother was listed in 1920 as merchant in sporting goods. They no doubt had some one make them a batch of razors.
