Thanked: 0Grim Reaper
Hello, I recently discovered this straight razor in the house I bought and was curious about it. It seems to me from what I've read on these forums that this would be a good place to find out some information about it. I believe this to be a dubl duck lifetime grim reaper, it's a very neat razor but I know nothing about conditions, etc. and was hoping some members could give me some insight about it. Pictures are on [photobucket] at:

Thank you for checking it out, I look forward to your responses!
Sorry, the forum made p.hotobucket a link by itself, the driect link was a copy/paste since i didnt put the ww in front of it. Thanks for making a link to the pictures in below posts. You should be able to click on the link directly to it now.Last edited by MFrench; 04-21-2011 at 09:07 PM.

A much easier way to do this is to post an actual photo or three right here in your post.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Yep, that's what ya got there. I would hit the blade and scales with some metal polish like Maas of Flitz, hone 'er up and put it back in service.

You guys must be more computer savvy than I am ..... I can't access a photo based on the OP's info. OTOH, ya seen one Reaper, ya seen 'em all.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

* Special editor's comment: Not that it changes my greatness (that could have went without saying but it bears reinforcing in the minds of some doubters), but I'd like to donate the likes and thanks that have been pouring in here to the first post of the thread in which the magnanimous owner of such a splendid piece of razor history, in a marvelous display of kindness and generosity, freely distributed to us his lifetime dubl duck portrait collection. So give it up for MFrench!Last edited by hoglahoo; 04-22-2011 at 04:14 PM. Reason: hoglahoo likes this.
