Its a little plain looking, but good steel is good steel The blade measures at about 11/16ths. A little simichrome and she polished up real nice, just a few spots on the blade, not sure if I want to take the time to work em out, or keep it as is.

I guess this is RAD?

Nah, I don't know if you can classify it as RAD if you pretty much stole the razor! Lol. You'll have to post how it shaves. I just bought a Morley and await its arrival. I've read around here they are very solid shavers.

Yes, they shave right up there with the best of them. The fact the price was right doesn't hurt either.

Well, the first shave gave me some razor burn on the neck.... Guess the steel really is a little harder, and it just needed to tell me to spend a little more time on the finishing stone.

The second shave went well I'm now torn between leaving it in the rotation as is, or going back and really polishing it up. Its a little plain to look at, but that means I don't have to worry about polishing off any etchings on the blade. Maybe I'll just work on cleaning up my Torrey while I'm thinking

That is a plus about the plain blades. Not as pretty to look at but you don't have to worry about losing the etchings. Thanks for the shave update. I bought mine from the classifieds here.

WH Morley's are good shavers and I've had several pass through my hands. Nice score. When well honed they shave right up there with the best of them (as all vintage razors do).
