Thanked: 32Reviving this thread....the ebay listing page now notes 28 have been sold.
Have any SRP members bought one of these razors, and if so could you comment on the quality?

Thanked: 3Being located in Japan my buddy found a local knife shop that ordered these razors from that maker. He got 2 of them for us both and they are GREAT razors. I will post a picture up tomorrow when I get a chance to do some good photos.

Thanked: 15I bought one of these razors and it is a fine shaver, the equal of any kamisori I have seen. I also have 2 others that I bought here on SRP. It did not come completely shave ready but took and edge easily and is now one of my best razors. I'd buy again in an instant.

I can't tell for sure from the photo but it doesn't seem to have a typical kamisori profile. How about a profile shot of the toe. Looks like a part western part eastern no?

Thanked: 32I found this thread too, this is the same maker's razor.
They look mighty fine to me, but I have never owned a kamisori so if something seems amiss let me know.

I bought one of these last year.
It came with a sharp edge ,but did not shave well until I took it to the hones.
I followed the advice given on a honing vidieo on you tube.
I believe it was posted by gsixgun?(Glen). Who is a member here.
After refining the edge it worked just fine.
I moved it on because Of no matter how I try I can't get on with the .
Kamisori grind.
I'm just so used to traditional straights
