I have recently become interested in taking up straight razor shaving. While researching what razor to buy I remebered an old box that was given to me after my grandfather past years ago. Mainly full of misc stuff, but i did remeber a straight razor being one of them. I managed to find it again and I am thinking about restoring it and was just wondering what anyone thinks about my find and if it is worth restoring. It seems to be in descent shape for an antique but I cannot determin the age.

I have searched the internet for a while to try and get a rough estimate of the age but to no avail. Nothing out there seems to have the same engraving of "Jewel" on the blade. Nor does it have an item no like most Boker blades seem to do.

Does anyone have an idea on how old this is and if it is worth restoring?
