Japanese Straights (not Kamosori)
Hey guys,
I was wondering what you guys thought about the japanese straights (not kamisori), but the folding blade style? I've seen a couple on ebay. Do you guys like these? Are there any companies that you guys prefer?
There probably is info somewhere on the site, but I figured I'd start this thread anyway to get some input.

Last year I bought a NOS H-Diamond. Very good razor.

I am a huge fan of the Diamond series as well. I have the 775, 776, 777 and the 8000. The 8000 would stand up against any blade in the world. The 776 is my favorite.

Thanked: 4Does anyone know if there's a name for japanese western-style folding razors with kamisori/assymetrical grinds?

Thanked: 2I'm interested in Japanese straights (folding) too. I've seen some nice ones on the Kanayama Strop blog.
