US Blades: How large do they come? Biggest I've seen is 6/8.
The biggest US blade i have is a 6/8 Torrey. I actually haven't seen any that are bigger than that. Did the US companies make any choppers or big hollow grounds?

but yes your observation is correct there are not many...
IIRC I have seen one American made heavy blade "Chopper" I would have to go through my restore pics to try and find it

If you take a look in the Razor Club thread for Robeson you will see two 8/8 blades made by that company in Rochester, NY. They are featured in posts #39 and #45.
