    Default Matador made in Germany

    One of a bunch of razor I purchased is a Matador made in Germany. Engraved on the blade is a crescent and star and the words "The Celebrated Oriental Razor".

    Any information would be appreciated.

    The photo would be helpful.
    Most Likely, the razor was made by Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co.
    Here razor from their catalog:

    ...or by Deus & Co., Solingen. He used "Matador" trademark too. He is listed as safety-razor maker, but possible, he made straight razors too.
