    Thumbs up Great Find!

You really know how to stir up our SRAD. You probably have the only Friodur Wedge like that in existence but we will spend every moment of our remaining lives searching for one to add to our collection. I also now have a bad case of RAE (Razor Acquisition Envy).

Good for you. I hope it shaves great and gives you much enjoyment.

It appears one like that was sold on B&B in 2006, that was the only other Fridour like that I was able to find any reference to.
Kind of wondering why are those so rare?

    FiveOhNine:

Do you have a picture? It would be nice to compare the two.

    Thanks.

Snagged this one a while ago. Not a wedge, but not far off.

Thanks for the picture. It is in pristine condition. You are right, it is at least a near wedge. I have a Union Cutlery near wedge and it shaves great.

Wow, you learn something new everyday! I didn't know Friodur made a wedge model either. Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

Just had a shave with the Fridour, it shaves just as well as it's hollow ground brothers. I honed very easy, I reset the bevel on 1k Chosera, then 3k chosera, then I jumped on one of my Jnat finishers and did a progression with Mejiro and a tomonagura.

    Congrats!

She's got real character. A good looker. And shaves to boot.

    Well Done Sir
