Thanked: 1I went back to the pipe razor again and continued to polish out with MicroMesh. I think it looks pretty good now. I would like to see how that honed up but i'm definetely not experienced enough for that one. The imp i have done the TPT and it passes well. It wont cut a hair dangling though. Does this need to be honed or can it be put straight to the strop to make it shave ready? I have a standard canvas and leather strop if that matters.

Thanked: 1Is there anyone who would like to try try and hone thier skills on the Wosty. It has quite the smile so i don't think i can even begin to set a proper bevel on it. It would be nice to see if it would shave again.

Please don't post 'want to buy' (honing service) in the open forum. There is a section in the classifieds for "Want to Buy" for this type of post. Your best option would be to go into the 'Members Services' forum in the classifieds and PM the members you would like to ask for service.

Thanked: 1Oh please don't misunderstand, or maybe i am misunderstanding. I am not soliciting or offering any services. I was mearly asking, just as Pinklather was asking if i wanted to send them my Red Imp to get shave ready. I was asking if anyone who is currently building thier honing skills and has not tackled any type of smiled edge like this would like to practice on this one. I am not expecting to get a free service or sell this razor or anything else like that. I personally like the razor and I had cleaned it up pretty well in my opinion for my first, it is enough for me to just have to admire. I don't think i was out of place asking that. I hope noone else misunderstood my comments.
