Thread: Help, does anyone know where this razor came from?

I came across this razor and decided to clean it up. It was a real mess,someone did a real poor job of grinding on it. It is starting to look decent but I have know idea who made it or it's origin. The only markings are on the show side of the tang. Can any of you nice folks help me out?

My vote is for England. Looks like a Sheffield from the Orientalist era, when faux "Chinese" was plastered all over stuff.
The middle character there does look like the Japanese character "好" which means "like" or "love."
