    Default Odd Razor ID?

I got a razor at a junk store that I am attempting my first restore on. It is a 5/8 very heavy razor with bakelite scales and RIDER stamped on the tang. Does anyone have any info they can share? Just would like to know if its worth the effort. Thanks

No idea myself, but as a general rule, pics would help, I am sure. Especially a closeup of the tang stamp...

I am not familiar with Ryder razors. If you didn't pay a lot for it and plan on restoring other razors I would say it is worth restoring even if only for the experience restoring razors. If you do restore it be very careful using power tools

Yeah, I'm just hand sanding it to a satin finish (600 grit final) I'm gonna use it and it will develop a mineral oil patina anyway.
