    It is a good shaver, the ones I've had/seen have all had gold wash on the blade, not just the tang. I think Facharbeit.
    I'd say it's collectible too, but may be less so than if it had the gold wash. Though what do I know about collecting...

    Nothing. A long time ago, he took it to some kind of Arkansas stone. It's been sitting idle for about 2-3 decades!

    I wish my dad was as cool as yours! All I inherited after he passed was a couple blue Bics and a Trac II..... poor soul (him that is, not me).

    Anyway, enjoy. Heirlooms are to be cherished.
