Default help w/ interesting razors from my collection.

    hi all,
first post here, been "lurking" for a while but never spoke up till now. i have quite a few razors in my growing collection, but a few that get a lot of interest when people come look thru my stuff... the few being WWII German razors complete with third rich symbols. i don't want to post photos for obvious reasons but i can't find info on these anywhere.

the blade on one is stamped with a fox and "LUX SOLINGEN" on side and "BOHLER" on the other........??

the next has a "35" and "fambour" in a pretty script on one side and 'ROBERT BUNTENBACH SOLINGEN-HOHSCHEID" on the other.

the next has "ERN" on one side and an eagle w/ "223" and "SOLINGEN" on the reverse, but is stamped in in a matching bakelite as the handle. this is the only razor out of 40 or so i own that has this.

all these razors seem to add up to be of that era, and have officers rank bands on one and what i think is the owners monogram on one.....
along with it i got a shave brush made of air grade aluminum... (also has the, er um "logo") it looks to me to be squirrel hair?? and has a stamp on the bottom of "dubl duck, made in germany, for professional use only"

i guess i'm just trying to get some info on these, i can understand why no one would really collect these. but i'm hoping for some manufacture ID and to see if these are just hokie post war red neck makes or something..... any info would be great.
    thanks

    I can't identify first razor.
Robert Buntenbach, here you can find info about this family.
    ERN, all info here.
My opinion, all nazi symbols are modern, not from that time.

Interesting sounding collection, the beauty of the razor themselves is what makes me curious.By the way the word is Reich not rich.

I would tend to agree. There's plenty of Nazi items with emblazened swastikas in museums all over the world. I, personally would love to see a razor with an officer's branded rank on it. I don't think people would get offended by it. If you put them up as special razors that give superior shaves BECAUSE of their heritage, that may be something else.

Perhaps an odd choice for a first topic to get involved in...

But I would actually be very interested to see the photos.

I must confess that I, too, would like to see these items but can understand some sensitivity in posting them.

I think we would all like to see them. I for one love to look through pictures of razors even if they may have a "dark" or unique history to them.
