Hello, blag147:
The vintage Bokers are highly coveted. Opinions on the new ones are less favorable, although not negative. I have both the vintage "King Cutter" and the new one — and love both. I dare say my new "King Cutter" with plastic scales is one of my preferred shavers.

Can't say enough good about the king cutter. I have one, brand new from SRD and I love it. Honed by Lynn and arrived super fast. 109.00 is a lot, but that razor was worth every penny.
Buy it, can't go wrong.
my 2 cents.
Hammer-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --

Thanked: 240I only have experience with new bokers, in my experience id rate it above my dovo also new but below my new TI all three are the cheapest blades available from the three companies, and all three were honed by Lynn. That said the TI was significantly more expensive then the other two.

I've got a Boker "Our Own", not sure where that dates it, but the tree design leads me to believe c. 1950. Honed by Utopian, and leaves a beautifully close shave. Wonderfully sharp and beautiful shaver. Careful of the spikes, though. They tend be very passive-agressive and throw tantrums when you don't give them close attention mid-shave.
