    Default henkotsu kamisori

    today i've got this:














    a henkotsu chou gake size 3. its 2,8cm at its widest point. the other kamisoris are to compare it. they are also henkotsus size 1 and size 2. and all of them are fantastic razors. who needs iwasaki if you could get a henkotsu.

    Well Iwasaki is Iwasaki he has the rep for a reason. Henkotsu are very nice razors too, enjoy them.

    Hey Stefan,

    Sure he has that reputation. Hes doing really good razors. I own one with swedish steel. For me the henkotsus are just a little better but that doesnt mean that the iwasakis are bad. Maybe what i wrote was a little harsh. Sorry for that.

    I have no problem with what you said, what razor you like it personal preference as always.
    I have honed a quite a few of those and they take great edges and shave really well.

    first shave today. it feels totally different to the smaller kamisoris. somekind of more westernlike. it is so thin on the edge that it is nearly singing

    Gorgeous. Someday I hope to be lucky enough to talk SWMBO in to letting me get a kamisori.
