Question Anyone familiar with this razor?

Picked it up this weekend at an antique shop. Googled and found out it was a "Ladies' Safety Razor". Oh well, I thought it was a cool grab...esp for $15.

Yup, seen 'em on eBay before. They seem like a brilliant idea that should be brought back, but where the heck would you get blades for it?
Actually, what are the dimensions of the head? I wonder if some modern blade would work in it? After all, carpet blades work in Durham Duplexes.

Thx, Utopian! I agree that the idea is one that makes a LOT of sense. I'm not sure of the dimensions but I'll try to get a chance tomorrow to measure it up and let you know. I have a feeling there are some modern blades that will work, too.

I have one that i bought a few years ago that came with some new blades. I cannot think of any blades that would fit and the original blades were thin so that they could bend to follow the curve of the head. They were just a rectangle shaped single edged blade. I had one with a small hole in the middle, but the original ones were just plain.

They are bigger than an injector blade and much smaller than a DE.
