Default Thinking of this Green Lizard

I'm on and off about this. I've done some research here on SRP to find out more about Green Lizard. I'm kind of interested in this one on ebay: BEAUTIFUL CATTARAUGUS GREEN LIZARD STRAIGHT RAZOR | eBay

    Any opinions????

you'll probably get some more competition now on that auction. the blade edge looks a little uneven.

I've heard those are good shavers, but it appears a little on the dear side in that condition. The edge needs correcting and a good honing.

Looks to be the product of some bad honing habits. It can be corrected, but will take some work. Best, wildhog

That one has some serious edge issues and by the time they are sorted out you will likely be honing into the stabilizer. Green Lizards are pretty common and pop up on a regular basis on eBay. I would look for one with a blade in better condition.

I've heard they are good shavers and it wouldn't surprise me. All American steel I've encountered takes great edges. I do own one of these, but can't comment on how they shave as I've yet to clean it up and hone. The translucent green plastic scales though look pretty sweet on them in person.

As others have said, there looks to be a lot of work in that blade. Factor that into the price.

Absolutely forget that one. The blade is in need of serious help as said before.

I just picked up a beautiful one in the classifieds here for half that. Great place to search

Keep searching and you will find one.
