Default Need opinion one razor before sale ends

    Hi! New to the forum...

What do you guys know about this comapny, blade etc. Can get it for half price, so is it worth it at that let alone full price?

Feather Razor | Straight Razor | Damascus Steel Straight Razor with Camel Bone Handle | FeatherRazor.com

    Thanks!

They are right up the road from me, I am waiting to see one of these razors in person right now... They are being sold on E-bay also...

I would be very very cautious as this very well are most likely Pakistani razors..

Here is what I have found so far... http://straightrazorpalace.com/aucti...e-carbons.html

They have not called me yet to meet...

From what I've heard, Damascus Steel is nothing but a scam. After a quick viewing of that website, I noticed that they sell a 10 dollar Van Der Hagen shaving kit, labeling it as their own, for 40 dollars. That seems to be a red flag itself. If I were you, I'd shop here on the classifieds or at Straight Razor Designs where you can find a cheaper, expertly honed, and 100 percent reliable razor instead.

And upon even further inspection, they sell the individual VDH soap pucks for $15.00. You can literally buy those at Walmart for $1.50 a puck. This website seems more than willing to rip you off. Buy elsewhere.

Since Feather Razors are made in Japan, either the Japanese company failed to file the appropriate trademark registrations, or this new company is going to be getting contacted by some lawyers pretty soon.

I wouldn't buy anything from them . You can get a real straight razor , that you can really shave with , here in the classifieds section .

    I'm curious enough to ask...
Since I assume you are new to this stuff, how did you find that website?
