Default Latest score Wadsworth & Son XLNT

Purchased my first straight edge. I have not shaved with it yet, as I am awaiting for my strop. According to the person I purchased it from, said that it is shave ready.

Couldn't say if yours is shave ready or not but I can say that when they are the Wadsworth razors do live up to their name of being excellent shavers.

I have honed a few of them, even customized one maybe two and always been impressed with the shave, one day I will find one for myself

IIRC I did one of them in Hawaiian Koa for somebody, I really liked that one

Looks like you have a nice one

Maybe it's just the photo, but I'm not loving that bevel. Was it shave ready off of a forum member or shave ready off of ebay?

It was off of an ebay item. I read all the positive feedback from the seller. For being a noob and spending $15, I didn't think it was that bad. Plus using just a point and shoot instead of my SLR, the pictures lead something to desire.

Nice razor. Wouldn't it be cool if they actually still cost $3.00?

I just sold mine off to tumtatty yesterday.. They are excellent shavers, just like their name said. Mine was hone by LarryAndro and was great. I want other razors and someone had to go to make room. I just didn't use it enough to not part with it, but I didn't because it wasn't good. I did because it was one I could afford to part with.

Enjoy that razor. It's a good one..
