As promised, here's some pics of my old Mandarin.

She's got quite the smile to her, but not as big as the one I'll have when I finally get to use it...

    Enjoy!!

Exactly like yours, isn't it?? heheh, M
    Thanks Mike.
Yes it is remarkably similar and I hope you enjoy shaving with it like I did with mine today.
I gave it a touch up on the PHIG that I got yesterday and it shaved great.
I find that I really have to watch my technique with a blade this fine/thin as it flexes very easily.
Thanks for sharing yours with the group (especially me) as I have never seen two the same.
Between us we have a two day set....hehehehe
    Cheers,
    Geoff
PS What did you use to polish the scales?

I use PlastX clear plastic cleaner and restorer and a slow (and I mean slow) buffer (mine fits on my drill so I can vary the speed easily).

    Shines them up like new!!

    Good luck mate!!!

The scales, that is called French Ivory. It is not real ivory but the pattern is supposed to make them look more like real ivory. Key word is supposed.

I also have one lightly etched Lakeside Cutlery. It was in a set of scales with 3 pins. Does anyone have dates on these razors?
