So; how does your honing feel compared to these? Very nice collection.

I'm not far off from SRD. It's very subtle. I hone with a Norton 220/1K, 4K/8K, Naniwa SS 12K, CrOx on balsa, White paste on Balsa. (and occasionally a .125 diamond on a felt paddle.) I think as my technique improves the degree of difference will decrease also. I doubt I will ever reach Lynn, Don, Glen, Max status but It's nice to know I can obtain a usable and smooth edge.
Granted these are on non-trouble blades. I have no aspirations of being able to obtain an edge as they do on a wedge!!!!

really nice set of razors! Would rather have these than a shoe box full of $20 ebay razors with issues. Best Regards and ENJOY, wildhog

Nice collection, I especially like the 5th one down that point looks dangerous. I just love getting razors back that have been professionally honed, even though I can get a usable edge myself theirs are just...well...better.

That's what counts, Infidel. Or to adapt a phrase from James Carville: 'its the shave, stupid!' (its the economy, stupid) Savor those bad boys. There's likely few indulgences (maybe good coffee) that we get to enjoy every day.

If alot of razors come at once for honing, I find that by the time I'm finished, my appetite for a known, familiar blade w/ a carefully tweaked edge grows. Finally, getting back to the favorites in the rotation makes the morning a sweet reunion. Your rotation stands proud. I know you're loving it.
