Default Lemons instead of Lemonade :(

Well I went to an antique store today and found a Fritz Bach 6/8 Dovo with craked ice scales. I was pumped! I even talked her down to 25$ from 50$.....I got home and cleaned the dirt off only to find that it has a hirline crack in the middle I was looking forward to shaving with it after the clean up...Up up side is that I have another Dovo (Special) that doesnt have scales...I guess I will change scales and make the Fritz a 4/8th...Anyone else pick up a lemon this weekend?

A DD goldedge that was listed in excellent condition. The pics didn't show it but the scales were warped/cracked and the blade loose and would not close due to warping. I sent it back for refund. sigh....

I have 2 razors I should photo and show. One was cracked when I got it. I don't have the skill to shrink it up. Maybe someday. The other didn't survive the cleanup. It was so pitted and rusted that I didn't have the ability to save it either. Oh well, $40.00 down the drain. Sadly, I wish that was the only time I'd ever been burned, but it isn't. I just take that stuff in stride and try and keep the attitude good. S**t happens.

Got a Burnett Top Flite on the bay, blade described as excellent shape. Open the box as soon as I got home. Two cracks on the edge and rust along the top of the spine. Seller still hasn't returned any emails. Contesting with ebay. You win a few, you lose a few.
