    Default Help with info on this razor dovo ?

    Couldn't help but purchase this dovo razor on eBay however trying to find out more info. It was advertised as vintage dovo model 28 however has. #6 stamped on the blade where model # usually is. I have included the link of the pictures. Any help is appreciated.

    I'm not sure, that it's a vintage razor.
    It's simple modern DOVO razor.
    I think, good razor for everyday shaving.

    The scales look to be fairly modern plastic.

    probably not current production new but an older model. However not really vintage.

    check out this link, based on the symbols on the box and shank it looks like pre 1953 but cant confirm for sure

    Very difficult to say according the stamp.
    As you can see, the new DOVO-Special has the same stamp, as your razor. Another razor has stamp Fritz Bracht on the other side.

    It's possible the seller doesn't have a clue that these razors are still being manufactured and assumes it's vintage. NOS would be my guess.
