Type of Point?
I was wondering which type of point (tip shape) do you prefer on your straight razor and why?

My earlobes vote for round points, although they will abide a square or spike if it is slightly muted.

French or spainish, handy for getting into tight spaces around ears and nose.

Anything other than a round point, I don't care for the look. Otherwise they all really work...

+1. All points shave the same for me, but preferance would be barber's notch because I like the way they look. Especially the old Sheffield choppers.

Spike with very little mute. However, that is what I started with over 40 years ago. All of the different points work well, so it comes down to personal choice. Good Luck, wildhog
