Thanked: 0Pearcy "The Ringer"
Hey everyone,
Curious if anyone knows what country Pearcy razors were made in. Picked this up at an antique fair a few months ago, no markings besides "Pearcy" on the tang and "The Ringer" in the blade etching. It's a nice little double-ground blade, about 9/16ths wide and very light, faint gold still visible in the etching. The scales are plastic.
The only reference to Pearcy I can find anywhere on the web is an identical blade (even the same level of wear) posted here from a while back, but with apparently mismatched scales.
I cleaned some active rust off the blade, and someone had filed off one end of the pivot pin. I just re-pinned it this morning (first time pinning, actually).

Looks like you found a nice razor and the scales are attractive. Sorry but I can't help with it's origin. Get 'er honed up and put back in service. Let us know how it shaves.
