A.J. HAGUE & Co Straight Razor Help.
Yesterday i was at an antique in Galveston and i came across this beauty. It is an A.J. Hague and it has the words "Southern Pride" stamped on it (which is great because i am from Texas ^.^ ) the lady would not budge from 64 + tax so i just grabbed it anyways. It was shave ready i just honed it and stropped it (i didnt even need to polish it all that much it was already with a mirror finish!) Does any body know anything about these blades? and was 69 (with tax) a good deal? the other side says "Damascus made in Germany" Thanks yall!

I would have grabbed it had I been there. Nice looking razor. I really like the spine work.

Thanked: 1936Good looking razor, but that's a steep price...but then again I'm a bit cheap. How did you hone it up?
