Yeah, but it will change depending on how you stretch it. Give it a good pull and it becomes thin enough to almost see through. That's not counting variations in manufacture and handling, either. As an electrician, learning how to play with the thickness of tape is all part of the biz.

1/4" spine on an 8/8? Gotta get me one of those monsters to play with!
