Thread: NOS herder

Looking to buy one of these the blade and scales look nice how are tue shaves on these things

if honed right it should shave just fine as any Solingen really.

So it's prob not worth spending a lot of money on it then

It will depend on the condition, but Solingen made razors make great shavers.

It's literally brand new in the box

In a situation such as yours, if I didn't know whether a razor I was looking at was worth the asking price, I would look on ebay 'completed items' for the same brand. If I didn' t find one there I would compare the asked price to new Solingen razors of a similar size, grind and quality. The usual vendors have both current and NOS Solingens for sale on their websites. I've got a vintage Herder that came to me used and it is an excellent shaver.
