Thanked: 0Razor Shopping
I just finished reading a 40 chapter book on The Art of Straight Razor Shaving. I have been searching the internet trying to find a round point, near wedge, brand new straight razor. Can anyone make some suggestions as to where to find this needle in a haystack?
Thank you,
Joshua

That's an odd combo for most new razors. You may want to check with one of the custom guys.

Hart steel has round point, 1/4 hollow ground new production razors. 1/4 ground is probably as close to wedge as you're going to get with a new razor.
You can see them here, www.classicshaving.comLast edited by Theseus; 07-26-2011 at 01:53 AM. Reason: added info

Thanked: 240Hart steel is the only one that comes to mind, they are fairly expensive. But are well executed and exactly what you want. Hart Steel Straight Razor
Edit: looks like I was beat to the point that said although it's not a full wedge with the ~62 Rockwell hardness steel they use its far stiffer then my full wedge Sheffield blades.Last edited by thehekler; 07-26-2011 at 01:55 AM.
