    Default Tillotson Razor, unknown year

This little gem arrived in a tragically under-wrapped and brittle bakelite case, but the blade and scales are in good condition. It arrived more or less shave-ready, and I think with a good stropping, it will be ready to ply my face.

The tang is stamped "Tillotson Sheffield /Patent /Crystallized /Cast Steel" but the brand and city stamp are worn rather heavily. The acrylic scales are in excellent shape aside from their ugliness. I'm not a fan of the colour or the pattern, but I think both could grow on me.

The bakelite case is toast after so many years of brittleness and then being disturbed in the mail. The ends have both punched out and were rattling around in the bottom of the bubble mailer.
