Thanked: 1"Horton's No 1"
Just bought a Horton's No 1 on eBay for $20.
Had a search on here and can't find anything about them.
Thoughts? Ok? Waste?
It's just to practice honing on. But perhaps this is more addictive than previously thought...
Cheers,
Aaron.

Hard to say from that picture and I don't know the maker but, with work, it may end up a good shaver. Good luck.

Aaron - More information would be helpful. Could you post everything written on the box and on the tang of the razor. Your photo isn't very clear. Many times the razor is mismatched with the box and is from another manufacturer entirely. Visually, this razor looks more German than Sheffield, but I could be wrong there.

Not a waste for practice but the blade is worn flush to the stabiliser. It will not hone evenly unless you reprofile that area
