Col Ichabod Conk Straight Razor
Does anyone have any knowledge or thoughts on the Col Ichabod Conk Straight Razor?
5/8 Red Straight Razor - $115
I don't know myself...But as it says Solingin Best Quality on the blade, and Solingin Germany on the shoulder, I suspect it is pretty much like the Dovo Best Quality Razor...I suspect the razor blade is actualy the same with the only difference is the Col Ichabod Conk stamped on there rather than Dovo.
Any other thoughts on these?

I have not tried this razor. But I know very well, it's risky to buy modern razors from unknown manufacturer. Many Chinese and Pakistani firms registered in Solingen nowadays. They ask 115$ for the razor, for this money you can buy something really valuable and in excellent condition.

Conk has always used rebranded Dovo razors.

I have two Dovo razors, third I managed to return to the shop. They are beautiful with all these golden covered blades. Great items for collection, but not for shaving.

+10. Completely illogical query from the OP. Lynn sells finer razors at a lower price that are expertly honed and come with a "second hone" for free warranty. Impossible to beat.
