Default Can Artist Club DX Special Teakwood handle go in Barbicide?

I know it can be disassembled and the stainless will be fine, but can the wood handle itself go in Barbicide?

I place my unfolded razors in a jar of Barbicide, with only the blade submerged. I would not consider soaking ivory, bone or wood scales in any liquid, for fear of warpage.

Definitely what Croaker said. Barbicide will not be good for wood or any natural material. If you feel the need to disinfect scales, a cotton swab dappened with alcohol carefuly on the inside wood be likely be ok. Test small area first. If the teak is ufinished the alcohol will take out some of the natural oils so don't go overboard.

The alcohol can also ruin some finishes. If the wood is unfinished (I can't see that being the case) it is naturally antimicrobial. I would disassemble it before or just a quick swish and allow to dry.
