Thread: 8th National Shaving Collectibles Meeting

Fellow Collectors,

The 8th National Shaving Collectibles Meeting is only about 10 weeks away – October 15-16, in West Chester, Ohio. Currently, this meeting is shaping up as the most well-attended meeting since the inception of this get together in 2004.

For those of you interested primarily in straight razors, there is a good number of people attending who have been collecting straight razors for many, many years. They will be exhibiting their prized treasures and will also have straight razors for sale and for drooling over. In addition, Lynn Abrams of The Straight Razor Place will be giving a presentation on straight razors, as well as a demonstration on honing of straight razors.


This is a meeting for collectors of all shaving memorabilia (safety and straight razors, stroppers, blades, banks, mugs, etc), either new to the hobby or those who have been collecting for many years. Attendees, if they so wish, have the opportunity to display their collections, trade, or sell to each other.

Man, Stubear, this looks a lot closer for me than the trip you would have to make. It is only a couple of hours away from me. Thinking of going up myself.
